Amazon throws open its logistics network to compete head-on with FedEx and UPS

RETAIL, wholesale and commercial businesses of all sizes can now have access to Amazon’s entire global logistics delivery network.
A new development – branded as Amazon Supply Chain Services (ASCS) – is opening up its entire portfolio of freight, distribution, fulfilment and parcel shipping capacities, putting the e-commerce giant squarely in competition with established integrators UPS and FedEx.
